We're called Love and friends for a reason -. although most of our members are single professionals looking for dating, romance and a long term partner, you don't have to be looking for a romantic relationship to join us. 

Maybe you've relocated or just want to meet more like-minded people. Lots of 'dating' members make friends on the way to the love bit. You can get an idea of our members from doing a search, our success stories pages and our lively discussion forums.

We have a particularly strong membership throughout the UK and Ireland (over 130,000 members in 2007) and our offices happen to be in London. We also attract members from further afield who like the way we run our dating site.

Agewise we are open to members from 18 to 88 (and above!) and most of our members are well educated, successful professionals

As far as we're concerned, a 'thinking person'  doesn't necessarily mean having a formal educational qualification.  Whether you have been to University or graduated from the school of life you're welcome to join us.

We expect... ...our members to behave in a civilised and cultured manner. We are broadminded - however, crude or offensive remarks simply aren't on.

We aren't a place for married people looking for casual relationships. We are a site for adults ...but we don't offer any 'adult' content.
