It was not just the bride that ran away at a wedding celebration last weekend, but the entire wedding party, including the groom.
The party were holding the reception at a restaurant in Vallach, Austria, but left the restaurant without paying the bill, much to the horror of the restaurant's owner.
The group of about 30 wedding guests, including the bride and groom, simply got up and left, reports Austria's ORF television, before the dessert course was served.
The owner of the restaurant filed a complaint with the police but did not know the names of the guests, who had decorated their own table for the occasion.
When the newly weds were tracked down, they claimed the food, atmosphere and service were not up to scratch so they left the restaurant as a protest.
But the restaurant argued that the party had finished off their main courses, consisting of Wiener Schnitzel, grilled meat and pork roast, quite happily, according to AP.
