Novels from the Mills & Boon range of romantic and steamy reads are to be available for download on mobiles.
Some of the titles to be published are the Billionaire's Scandalous Marriage, the Desert King's Virgin Bride and All Night with the Boss.
Jane Tappuni, spokesperson for ICUE who is launching the range, told ABCnews.com: "Mills & Boon novels have a fanatical fan base and we don't necessarily expect those readers to necessarily give up their books for mobile phones, but rather hope to reach people who tend to read less and use their phones more."
Alison Byrne, UK publishing director at Harlequin Mills & Boon, said: "For many people there's still that embarrassment factor of carrying your Mills & Boon around. When you are using your mobile phone nobody knows what you are doing," reports the Times.
The technology has been a success in Japan, where it has proved more popular with women.
The books will available in the UK from next month and will cost between £1.99 and £4.99 to download.
