More than half of bosses in the UK admit to finding one of their employees attractive, research shows.
Of these, many do not overcome the appeal of their underling.
Almost a third (30 per cent) admitted to going the whole hog and having a fling with the object of their affection.
Among those, 25 per cent admitted to being married, the survey also revealed.
Jon Glas, managing director of jobs2view.com, which carried out the survey, was quoted by onrec as saying: "Everyone talks about colleagues having a bit of office romance but who would have thought so many bosses are getting involved with one of their employees?
''Although it may seem like a good idea at the time, getting involved with the boss can be riddled with problems as the employee will have to get used to being told what to do by their other half."
Sixteen per cent of the 2,000 bosses interviewed admitted to hiring an employee purely based on their looks.
