It’s a choice between romance and career for newest Sugababe Amelle Berrabah.
The group's management team are said to have given her an ultimatum: dump the man or leave the band.
Problems began when Amelle missed rehearsals and recording sessions to be with the man in her life.
The other band members have taken a particular dislike to Amelle's boyfriend since he is soon to stand trial for the rape of Amelle's younger sister Samiya.
Amelle and Freddie Fuller are said to have gone into hiding to escape the pressures they faced from the press and work commitments.
A friend of Amelle's told the Sunday Mirror: "She loves Freddie and believes his claims that Samiya has made the whole thing up.
"But the other two girls [in the group], the management and the label have threatened to axe her unless she dumps him."
The Sugababes have denied that Fuller is causing problems within the band who have become notorious for bust-ups between the members.
