This afternoon, Peter Hain, Harriet Harman, Jon Cruddas, Hazel Blears, Alan Johnson and Hilary Benn will compete to win the nation's hearts as competition hots up for the new government line-up.
Each will have ten minutes to put forward their case for becoming deputy leader of the Labour party and field questions from interested listeners.
The discussion is taking place on Radio 5 Live.
According to the Times, teams of volunteers will crowd at the campaign headquarters to canvass via telephone.
Whether the dating will yield results in the traditional sense remains to be seen, but the "daters" will be pulling out all the stops to impress people around the UK.
