International cyber lovers wed

After six years of romantic communication over the internet, a couple have married.

Yang Zhen from China met Anna, a Russian airhostess over the internet and kept in touch with her every day of the six year long-distance affair.
The two communicated in English although this was neither's first language.
The couple had never met until Yang was fortunate enough to win a round trip ticket to Europe so he flew to Russia to meet Anna.
Upon meeting his cyber girlfriend, he said: "She was more beautiful than I expected. How could I not love her more?" reports the People's Daily.
Anna said: "He has a temperament which enchanted me very much."
The pair have had support from both sets of parents.
The groom's father said: "Who said web love cannot become reality? My son is a good example."
At the ceremony Anna's mother took photos throughout so that she can remember her daughter now that she lives abroad. |
