As couples try to make their wedding more original and memorable, it seems they have greater competition to stretch the boundaries as a couple has just married hundreds of feet off the ground dangling from ropes.
Two window cleaners in China got married hanging in the air on their high-rise work platforms this week.
The pair sat on wooden swings for their ceremony, stretching across to present each other with rings.
As the nuptials took place, a banner which read "High Altitude Love" was unfolded from the top of the building.
They were also brave enough to hug and kiss one another from the dizzy heights of the high-rise building, the Yunnan Daily reports.
The wedding party - the best man and bridesmaid - who were both work colleagues, were also suspended.
Other wedding guests watched from the ground below.
The proud groom said: "Our wedding was both romantic and like our daily work."
