Girl guides want help with their love lives and finances, according to a new survey.
Some 80 per cent of girl guides in the 16 to 25 age bracket asked for advice on safe sex and a huge 93 per cent wanted help in managing debt
.
Other concerns among senior guides included writing a CV, planning a holiday and assembling a flatpack box.
The survey of more than 1,000 girls by Girlguiding UK was designed to ensure the movement remains relevant in the 21st century.
Among the youngest guides, aged seven to ten, learning the green cross code was the biggest priority, while for ten to 15 year olds it was cooking a healthy meal.
Liz Burnley, the chief Guide, said: "As the UK's largest youth organisation just for girls and young women, we prioritise giving girls the skills, experiences and opportunities they need to reach for new aspirations and succeed in the modern world.
"But these goalposts don't stand still, which is why we constantly ask our members what they think, so that we can continue to be truly relevant to tomorrow's young women."
