Expert reveals her online dating tips

Relationship expert Kate Taylor has been sharing her online dating tips and has explained that she is "a huge fan" having met her husband through a dating agency.
Writing on GMTV's website, Ms Taylor explained that online dating is "a wonderful way to meet new people, and is amazingly easy to fit into your life".
There are a few guidelines that Ms Taylor put together to help those interested in finding love online.
She suggested choosing a flattering nickname so that potential suitors are not put off. Ms Taylor advised people to "use a nickname that describes you and your good points".
Sparkly_Eyes1981 and Bubbly_Brunette are put forward as potentially good names, while Looking2TrustAgain is put forward as one to avoid.
People can also pick nicknames that describe their hobbies or interests, she said, such as "Opera-Lover".
Alternatively, online daters are advised to try something that describes their profession or what they do for a living. Possibilities put forward included Hiking Lawyer or Dancing Doctor.
Flattering photos are important, according to Ms Taylor, although she did suggest that they should be "clear and recent" and need to reflect the qualities that people emphasise in their profiles.
For instance, Ms Taylor suggested that people who have described themselves as a "lively, sociable person" should pick a photo of themselves in a "social setting".
Profiles too are important but Ms Taylor said people do not "have to labour" over their ad. Instead, they are advised to put together a few paragraphs "in a light-hearted, upbeat way".
She made the point that if someone is interested, then they will take the time to get to know a person more by contacting them.
