Eva Longoria, star of Desperate Housewives, has told her fiance Tony Parker that they will not be having sex until after their wedding in July.
She has said the ban has been imposed to help her husband-to-be reach the NBA play-offs.
Longoria told US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel; "Luckily, we're getting married after the play-offs and then we need to consummate the marriage. I scheduled it that way."
Parker's game appears to be benefiting from the sex-ban.
The pair are set to wed in Paris on July 7th. In response to claims that the couple picked the date because it is said to be lucky, Longoria said: "We picked that date because it's the only weekend we're both off."
The two met in November 2004 in Parker's team locker room after a game. Longoria then told a newspaper that he was her favourite player.
But that's not all Longoria has divulged to the press. Last year, she revealed to Allure magazine that Parker had been with only one other woman before her.
