Dating transformed Avril Lavigne from Tomboy to 'Real Woman'

Avril Lavigne has revealed that dating - and eventually marriage - turned her from a tomboy into a "real woman".
At the same time she feels she hasn't lost her penchant for rock star behaviour and retains a crazy "rock chic" outlook
.
Avril tied the knot a year ago to the frontman of Ontario pop punk band Sum 41, Deryck Whibley.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said that marriage was suiting her well for the time being at least.
"I don't know how marriage will affect my outlook", she admitted.
"But it's cool to be with someone who does the same thing as me. We have both chosen the same life, so things tend to work out."
She also said that being a star young had made her grow up fast - and that she remains a "complicated" case.
"I was a very young 17-year-old and I came from a small town. I had different clothes and a different hairstyle. I've gone from being a tomboy kid to being a woman.
"Everyone can see the changes in me. But underneath I'm the same. I'm not sitting here in a Chanel dress," she pointed out.
