'Bars Suck! Internet dating doesn't', a new book by Jon Rubin, a TV producer, aims to entertain and advise readers about internet dating and to help them find their perfect match online.
Ruben takes readers on his six-year journey through the world of online dating, during which he found his now wife, Marcia, who he married in 2005.
During his research, the self-proclaimed 'Internet Dating Expert', found that 99 per cent of singles agree that bars suck when it comes to finding a long-lasting relationship, many of whom would rather opt for looking for love online.
The author lets readers in on some tips to avoid the pitfalls into which he fell, dubbed IDDs or Internet Dating Dangers.
These include MUI (Meeting Under the Influence), OCOCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Online Chatting Disorder) and FFP (Flying Frozen Poultry), reports ENews Channels.
He gives the reader rules and strategies for achieving success in online dating, which offer an entertaining insight into his own experiences, both positive and negative.
His success, however, makes it clear that internet dating is a place to meet people and form lasting relationships.
