... Australians dating at work Australians dating at work

29 June 2007

The Australians have been at it again. But this time they can't even keep it in the bedroom.

A new survey has revealed that one in five Aussies have 'consummated' a relationship in their office.

And many of these can't even wait until the end of the day, the careers site which conducted the survey revealed.

Suggesting why so many people are having difficulty containing themselves in the workplace, it was found that one in four Australians meet their long term partner at work.

Stronger bonds are also being forged between colleagues as people are spending longer at work, reports news.com.au.

Combined with the similar interests that co-workers are likely to share, this has resulted in people spending more time out of work with their workmates.

Just 13 per cent claimed that they felt workplace relationships were unethical and only four per cent had a clause in their contract prohibiting romance with co-workers.ADNFCR-1016-ID-18196995-ADNFCR
