A couple from the Czech Republic recently won a wedding which was held in Prague Airport.
Miloslava Vopelkova and Robert Hruska's story won them the wedding ahead of 120 other entrants
.
In their application, the pair described the airport as a symbolic venue because it is where they often said bye when they travelled abroad for work and study, but also where they were reunited.
The ceremony made the couple the first in Europe to tie the knot in an airport, reports Easier.com.
After the nuptials, newlyweds jetted off on a tour round Europe's most spectacular cities.
The bride said: "Travelling for jobs and studying separated us in the past and we even said that we were seeing one another mainly at the airport. Prague Airport was for us a place of farewells, short kisses, a place that often divided us for long periods of time.
"That is why a wedding at the airport is the right thing for us. What divided us in the past will now join us forever."
